Spirit & Flame craft small batches of luxury hand-poured scented candles inspired by the natural world. Made with love and care, from 100% pure sustainably sourced soya wax and cotton wicks, the candles are as natural as possible using eco-friendly supplies and packaging.
Deborah creates felted pictures and cards from her home in Cumbria and runs wet felting workshops in the local area.
Inspired by nature and the stunning Cumbrian lakes and fells, she uses a combination of wet-felting and needle-felting techniques, striving to achieve fabulous texture, dramatic colours and intricate detail.
Ailsa Wood from Silverlicious Gems is a self taught artisan jeweller born in the Lake District. She creates one off pieces or very limited edition contemporary silver jewellery with genuine gemstones as well as some copper designs. Alisa's inspiration comes from everything around her and the joy of making."
Ivy Makers Guild is a collaboration between husband and wife, Albat and Alex. They craft durable, purposeful leather goods, ceramics, and fine art using responsibly sourced materials. Their shop in Aspatria also serves as a vibrant platform showcasing the diverse work of fellow local Cumbrian artists.
Keswick-based Stained Glass Artist Kate Lavender blends heritage techniques with contemporary design. Using modern, antique and reclaimed glass, her collections recreate nature's movement and flow. Featured on the BBC’s Make It At Market in 2025, Kate specialises in landscape-themed suncatchers, 3D botanicals, and bespoke residential commissions, alongside running popular workshops across the region.
Award winning artist Dr Alan Taylor
specialises in pencil drawings, pastel and watercolour paintings to bring to life the beauty and colour of animals and wildlife. Alan and wife Diane reproduce Alan’s art on a variety of products and gifts from giclée prints and bookmarks to fi ne bone China mugs.
Lake District based artist, Becca Fielding creates original, characterful animal illustrations in watercolour and ink. Inspired by a love of animals and the outdoors, her work captures the personalities of our local Herdwicks, hares and other animals! Becca produce original artworks alongside prints and greetings cards.
West Cumbria based mosaic artist, Helen Clues trained in Art & Design in Carlisle.
Helen’s mosaic work is decorative and functional, using found, collected and traditional materials. Mosaics by their very nature can be heavy, and Helen’s pieces are refined so reflecting the original materials that inspired them.
Local textiles artist and maker, Gemma Keith Designs, specialises in capturing each animal's character through illustration and hand makes her products into gift and homeware.
Products include: Bone china mugs, handmade cushions, cotton tote bags, tea towels, greeting cards and petportrait commissions.

Studio Holly is a small print business based in the Lake District, capturing its landscapes and distinctive atmosphere through vibrant design. Inspired by local colours and sweeping views, the prints reflect the adventures people experience there. Born and raised in the area, Holly draws lifelong inspiration from its lakes and mountains.
Anna Bartrum of Anna’s Pots creates functional stoneware and delicate porcelain jewellery. Her obsession with ceramics shines through her thrown and hand-built pieces, featuring vibrant glazes. Designed for beauty and utility, her stoneware is oven, dishwasher, and microwave safe—perfect for everyday use and artistic display.
Nanu Hodson is a glass artist inspired by the play of light on and through glass. She uses the full vibrancy of available colours to create beautiful pieces designed to enhance both home and garden spaces. Texture plays a central role in her work, adding depth, character, and visual interest to each unique creation.
Lesley Connolly is a retired textiles teacher and skilled silversmith; she creates unique jewellery and pewter work inspired by global travels and Art Deco design. Based near Carlisle, Lesley offers bespoke commissions, hosts educational talks, and leads creative workshops, blending diverse gemstones with traditional craftsmanship to produce timeless, wearable art.
From his workshop housed in an old Smithy on the outskirts of Silloth, Dave crafts witty, surprising and beautiful things from other peoples’ junk & scrap. For the last two years Dave has appeared on BBC’s Lost & Found in the Lakes presented by fellow Cumbrian Helen Skelton.

Mark Bradley is an accomplished watercolour artist, potter and ceramic sculptor.

Hannah Burr is a textile artist based in Loweswater specialising in the heritage craft of Dorset Button making. Each button is hand sewn using traditional and sustainable techniques, incorporating natural British yarns and fleece.

Inspired by the beautiful landscapes of the Lake District and the endless adventures they offer, Summit Line Art specialises in detailed illustration, wall murals and prints.
Introducing Jan, the creative person behind Elizabeth Larsen Knitwear, Jan draws inspiration from the unique moods and character of the natural landscape, translating them into rich colours and subtle textures. Her knitwear designs are not only functional but also beautifully crafted, creating timeless staples for your wardrobe.

She also creates decorative goods from reused beads, wood, and other materials such as wire, paracord and twine to mainly sell at art and craft fairs.
S&D Designs create bespoke, handmade wooden pieces from recycled materials, including storm-fallen trees and salvaged broken items. Primarily using oak and hardwoods, each item is thoughtfully crafted, transforming reclaimed wood into beautiful, sustainable designs that combine timeless craftsmanship with environmental responsibility, celebrating both nature and creativity.
Alison Molloy is a talented artist specialising in expressive, loose watercolours. With a deep passion for the natural world, she predominantly captures the spirit of birds and animals. Her fluid style breathes life and movement into every subject she paints.
During the pandemic Carole used an old sewing machine to make facemasks for friends and family, selling them for charity alongside her sister. Carole's hobby grew and started making and selling all sorts of items, leading her to start Carole’s Fabric Crafts - a major shift after nearly 30 years as a chemistry teacher.

Since retiring two years ago, Graham has embraced woodworking as a hobby. Completely self-taught, he had no prior experience with wood but quickly developed his skills. He draws inspiration from YouTube, creating a variety of projects including bird tables, bird boxes, wine holders, wooden key holders, and coasters made from pallets.
